1. Logging In on the Web Platform

Step 1: Visit the Coinbase Website

• Open your preferred web browser and go to the official Coinbase website: www.coinbase.com.
• Make sure you're on the correct site to avoid phishing scams.

Step 2: Click on the "Sign In" Button

• On the top right corner of the homepage, click the "Sign In" button.
• This will redirect you to the login page.

Step 3: Enter Your Email Address

• In the first field, type in the email address associated with your Coinbase account.
• Double-check to ensure there are no typos.

Step 4: Enter Your Password

• In the next field, input your password. Ensure it's the correct one you set up when creating your account.
• If you’ve forgotten your password, click on “Forgot Password?” to initiate the password recovery process.

Step 5: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

• If you have 2FA enabled (which is highly recommended for added security), you will be prompted to enter the code sent to your registered mobile device.
• Open your 2FA app (e.g., Google Authenticator or Authy) and input the 6-digit code into the designated field.

Step 6: Click on "Sign In"

• After entering the correct details, click the "Sign In" button.
• You should now be logged into your Coinbase account, where you can manage your portfolio, trade cryptocurrencies, and more.

2. Logging In via the Coinbase Mobile App

Step 1: Download and Open the Coinbase App

• If you haven't already, download the Coinbase app from the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play Store for Android devices.
• Open the app after installation.

Step 2: Tap on "Get Started" or "Sign In"

• If you're a returning user, tap on "Sign In."
• New users can tap "Get Started" to create an account before proceeding to log in.

Step 3: Enter Your Email Address and Password

• Input the email address and password associated with your Coinbase account.
• If you forget your password, use the “Forgot Password?” option to reset it.

Step 4: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

• Just like on the web platform, if you have 2FA enabled, you'll need to enter the 6-digit code from your authentication app.
• Enter the code in the appropriate field.

Step 5: Access Your Account

• After entering the 2FA code, tap on "Sign In."
• You will now be logged into your account, where you can easily manage your cryptocurrency assets on the go.
